Please Care for Our Beach Friends!

So today I volunteered with the Turtle Trackers in cleaning New Smyrna Beach. So sad how much garbage people leave. At a glance, you may not see it, but if you get a closer look, like really look around, it's disgusting. People leave behind everything from toothbrushes to cigarette butts. We should at least do our part to keep it clean. This goes for every beach. Not only for our sake, but even more importantly, for the sake of the sea turtles and other animals. They can get caught and choke on these things. Please keep this in mind next time you go to a beach. Overall, it was a great experience.
