HemlockClan - “The Poison That Heals”

HemlockClan made their home in a pine forest with absurdly soft mossy ground.  The other Clans regarded them as strange, stupid, and air-headed.  HemlockClan cats certainly tended to be more spiritual than their neighbors, and had quite the number of superstitions- you’d never find a Hemlock cat stepping into a circle of mushrooms, that’s for sure!

HemlockClan named themselves after water hemlock, a deeply poisonous plant that’s one of the few flowers that grows on their territory.  They have a number of beliefs about poison, chiefly among them being that it’s the most dignified way to die.  HemlockClan cats, upon coming to the realization that their death is approaching, will seek out poison to consume.  Healers will feed their patients poison as they die.  Bodies are laid to rest among hemlock flowers by the oldest cats due to their deadliness.  These beliefs are where the Clan’s motto, “The Poison That Heals”, comes from.

HemlockClan brought moss, sweet woodruff, sweatroot, and wild ginger as trade with the other Clans.  Though healers highly appreciated the herbs, the moss was in high demand from everyone else due to its softness.

The last known HemlockClan leader was Sandstar.  Her deputy and healers were Erminedrift, Skyflake, Beachbee, and Pinepaw respectively.  There are no known HemlockClan survivors at this time.

• Bumblebee (specifically from the bumblebee movie) x Beachcomber (who I think would be stationed in L.A or New York)

Reasoning: Bee is learning human culture and Beachcomber loves that! Also they’d be cute in general :3

• Soundwave x Cosmos (could be super cool if set in Earthspark or if Cosmos was a racer in the Iacon 5000 while Soundwave was with the High Guard)

Reasoning: they’d be cute and could probably make each other better, even if only by an inch (also they do exist in tags and such which makes me happy but they should get talked about more!)

• Cliffjumper x Starscream (+ maybe Jetfire)

Reasoning: Cliff and Starscream are equally annoying and destructive to themselves and their own sides. They would 100% make each other even worse but maybe it would work out (Cliffjumper is the missing piece to Starscream’s redemption arc from Earthspark trust!) ALSO Jetfire would be the only thing keeping these two from blowing up Earth because of a minor annoyance
