Domani è la prima volta che vado a un concerto let alone a festival completamente da sola senza nessuno a farmi compagnia per di più in un posto che non conosco e l'idea non mi sta mettendo affatto a disagio/tristezza.

Music is everywhere, from the songs we sing in the shower to the background of the shows we watch, to the workouts we sweat through. It’s your favorite band, the memory of your favorite concert, and the traditions we carry with us. To the surprise of no one, it’s also a complex business, one that goes far deeper than headline-grabbing stars like Beyoncé (all hail the queen, of course). To understand the music that reaches our ears, we have to follow the complex web of people at work behind the scenes. And again, it’s probably not surprising that it’s often a process disproportionately dominated by white men. Which is why this month we’re getting to know five women in the music world. From educators making sure curriculums reflect everyone to the festival producers taking risks, to the people keeping us safe while we get down, here are the women creating a more equitable music world.
