I am so annoyed. There are so few exotic cultures left who practice their original traditions because Christian and Western missionaries have come in and stopped the “savages”. Take, for example, the Beami people of Papa New Guinea. Videos of these people from the 1970s show them in tribal dress, chanting and hunting humans (yes-cannibals). Now their culture is no longer existent in this manner, thanks to westernization. Why can’t tribes just be left alone?!
