if you would ask me to describe what it was like to be with him, I would tell you that it was like a warm summer day with slight traces of snowflakes from last night, slowly melting away just enough to make you thankful for the beaming sun. he filled me up with so much warmth that I felt giddy with excitement. so much so, that days without him were frost-bitten and bone-chilling but, i wouldn't mind it. the memory of holding his warm hands in mine were enough to give me the illusion of a fire lighting up inside of me that my cheeks hurt from smiling too much. you grin telling me that i'm mad in love with him but, i'm not. i just hold this absurd amount of admiration for him to me, it's amazing that the world is a much better place with people like him in it. i wouldn't want him to lose that shine ever. shine, baby. #poetry #poetrycommunity #him #admiration #warmsunnyday #beamingsun
