this was not how mariana had planned on meeting bean. not in the slightest. not at 2am outside of their apartment complex because some asshole decided 2am was the best time to try making weed brownies for the first time. they hadn’t even finished making the thc oil when it had caught fire. of course, mariana figured bean knew of her, simply because she’s tagged along to every gig they’ve had since they came through her hometown, but mariana hadn’t actually spoken to any of the band members except kieran.

still it was 2am, for fuck’s sake, and it was raining, and mariana had an umbrella where bean, seemingly, did not. so, she approached, a little uncertain given that she’d only had time to throw on a small robe over her crop top and underwear she was sleeping in, and she held the umbrella over the two of them, looking over to the building with a bored expression.
