☠ - angry/violent headcanon
lane isn’t one to show her anger , necessarily. a tell-tale sign she’s angry is if her palms are bleeding because while she’s calmly responding to you with ( probably ) a smile on her face , her nails are digging into her palm because she’s clenching her fists so hard. her parents don’t approve and have been trying to get her stop , they even went through a whole year where they checked her palms every night because it got so bad.
■ - bedroom/house/living quarters headcanon
her room ? is so boring. her walls are a shade of off-white , her bed is against the wall , white covers , white sheets. it’s scarily neat , not a thing out of place and it’s literally her safe haven because nothing is out of place and nothing can distract her there. she has her own private bathroom , however that’s a lot more disorganized with makeup and hair products everywhere.
♥ - family headcanon
the do’s are pretty well-known in the town , mostly because they’re both affluent professors at WHU. they’re active in the community , dedicated church-goers and they have a perfect daughter , delaney. they live behind a white picket fence and have a perfect life. delaney knows she has a perfect life , so she really doesn’t know why she’s so angry.
☮ - friendship headcanon
lane’s pretty much made it her business to learn everyone’s name in west ham. it’s a small town and she’s a “prominent” figure , it’s really not that hard to at least learn of everyone. she has quite an easy time making friends but an insanely difficult time keeping them. most people she befriends she finds a way or a reason to push them away and she’s like “oh no, i lost a friend” , so friends she does keep are very very very important to her.

she likes halloween , it’s her favorite holiday only because she can really go all out and pretend to be someone she’s not. her parents weren’t approving of her latest costume ( sexy swat officer ... sigh ) but most of the time , she goes all out with the fx makeup and everything because she just enjoys not having to be herself for a change , ya know ?

she was involved in a lot of stuff as a kid. she was that one kid that was in girl scouts , and the after-school dance class and also soccer , but also club volleyball. she had it all and she was active enough to never get tired. she thought it was fun , so no harm , no foul.
