It actually tastes nice.
sorry for the three asks in a row im just very excited. my friend sends me cars they see in media and irl and i identify them its like where’s waldo for autistics. this one STUMPED ME and i ended up having to google it (its in the original jumanji). look at this beast of a station wagon.
oh, 1988-1991 Pontiac 6000!!
i wouldn’t have known that so quickly if i hadn’t just seen one for sale recently. cool little wagon! late 80s pontiacs are neat. those shared a platform with the much more common oldsmobile cutlass ciera and buick century, my landlord (ugh) has one of the buick centuries from that era and it will never die
thoughts on the funky little 2000’s impreza outback sports? im looking into buying one >:3 its been sitting in a parking lot for ~6 months and supposedly just needs solenoids and fluids (and probably a battery, though the thing looks brand new so im gonna try and charge it first) to get running.
oh those are solid, late 90s through early 2000s subarus are the best ones imo. if it’s been sitting just check all the seals and gaskets, those can get stiff or break down a bit if they sit. subarus are known for blowing head gaskets so one that’s been sitting should almost certainly have an eye kept on it. but i doubt six months is long enough to do sizeable damage, i’ve had a car sit that long and start right up no problem (granted it was a corolla). assuming everything’s good have fun with your new subaru!
hi youre just like me for real. ive only been into car id for a couple years now but my friends always get a kick out of it when theyre talking and i stop them mid sentence to yell “OMG LOOK ITS A 96-99 GRAND CHEROKEE.” i love our autistic swag.
JUS LIKE ME FRRRRRR i love this for you haha, we car autistics are truly something else
i have a ‘95 grand cherokee (unsurprising) and theyre becoming rarer and rarer on the roads and its devastatingggg. all the older jeeps i see are either cherokees (cute lil fellas who i DO really like) or ‘96 onward and its so sad. i see maybe 1-2 ‘95 generations a month? fewer depending on how often im leaving the house lol. and i KNOW its because theyre mediocre these days due to the age but god. my autism. i love them so much. my favorites are the black w gold trim but mine is white w black siding :3
those first gen grand cherokees are awesome. i know rust just eats them and that’s i think part of why they’re disappearing, but every time i see one it makes me smile. i have an ‘01 cherokee and she’s my baby, even if she drains my wallet and won’t stop breaking these days when she’s running she’s the best, so i’m very partial to those 90s jeeps. that first gen pre-facelift grand cherokee is great, i hope yours continues to treat you well
catgirltitties ur my fav mutual. fight ask Pleas
