Just wanted to wish a happy 80th Birthday to the Beano comic, which premiered on this day back in 1938, and has entertained generations of British children (and adults) ever since.
I personally grew up reading the comic, and I have so many good memories reading (and laughing) about the hilarious, unique and wonderful characters contained within it’s pages.
Happy Birthday, Beano; may you continue on for another 80 years!
Bash Street Kids Cupcakes. The cupcakes are a vanilla chocolate chip cake, topped with nutella buttercream and decorated with fondant depictions of the characters. The characters from the Beano comic are: Fatty, Danny, Wilfred, Smithy, Spotty, Sid, Plug, Toots and Erbert.
