I always get nervous talking abt this on social media cus when I was younger and used Facebook I would share a lot of issues like this and be much more vocal about stuff and I’d always get into trouble bc apparently dads work would find it and see it and get HIM into trouble. So they would tell me to stop or just get angry

🧸 A headcanon about their childhood this one can kinda be considered as both a kay and an arthur headcanon, but i have a headcanon that arthur was always a really small kid and got picked on a lot. except he didn't really, because kay was a BIG strong kid and would chase any potential bullies off. but then immediately turns around and calls arthur short. no one can bully arthur except kay!!!!

💝 A headcanon about their love language i think kay's love language would definitely be quality time!!! kay is very much a parallel play person, he's happier doing chores and tasks in the presence of someone he cares about than he would be doing it on his own. also idk what the opposite of words of affirmation would be (words of discouragement? aksjdg) but that's him. if he makes fun of you it's because he cares about you. if he doesn't care he just won't say anything at all/ignore you

💔 An angsty headcanon i feel like kay probably saw the fall of the round table from a mile away. like.. i think he has a pretty keen eye for what's going on around him and he knows everything is going to shit but he can't say anything because his brother, who he's watching fall apart in front of him, would say it's rude to bring up. he's trying so hard to warn his brother that hey, maybe letting all these new knights to the table and just saying yes to everything is a bad thing. he didn't even get to tell arthur "i told you so".

🫂 A friendship headcanon i think kay has a very skewed view of what a friend is because of how he feels about most of the round table, and that is "someone whose presence i would be able to tolerate for a somewhat extended period of time". so like... he considers gareth a friend most definitely. i think he would consider aglovale a friend because he's very quiet and sensible, and he'd have a vitriolic friendship with dinadan. as much as he wants to fucking hate gawain he does actually enjoy his crazy adoptive nephew's company, for some reason. (bedivere doesn't count, that's his husband askjdgds)
