The Olivier Awards

Last night was one of the biggest nights in theatre. It was the Olivier Awards. It’s like the Tony Awards in America. I actually got to go to this awards show as opposed to passing by it like I did last year to see Joan Collins’ one woman show. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other...

When we first moved into our house here in France, I hadn't had my iPad very long. My husband had to keep working in the UK for two months, so I spent a lot of that first autumn here on my own, I did crosswords, walked, played games on the iPad, that sort of thing. Kept in touch with my mates back in UK on Facebook... Once he moved over, we found a pattern to our lives together in our new home.

Life was good.

Then, a few months ago I discovered Tom Hiddleston. I mean, really discovered him...Then my daughter told me to go on Tumblr (I had heard of it, but I had wrongly assumed it was exclusively for the younger user).

Now look at me.My hubby still goes back to UK occasionally to do a bit of work, and when he doesI spend ridiculous amounts of time on here. I am not complaining, btw.T

om and Tumblr between them have made me want to write (for which I am very grateful), and that has led to me rediscovering my inner woman again. The one the early menopause I had tried to beat out of me. I thought she had gone. I am very pleased to discover she is still there.
