NaNoWriMo Day 4: 3,118/30,000

This entire weekend’s been busy but I still managed to find time to write. And when I wasn’t actually writing I still figured out more about where the plot is going which is good. Still no written outline. It’ll get done soon though, the ideas are all there.

NaNoWriMo Day 3: 2,370/30,000

Oh look! Nothing! Yeah I was super busy today and literally didn’t have time to write. I was kinda guessing this would happen today, so it’s not a huge deal. Not sure if I’ll try to hit 3k or 4k tomorrow, I’ll just do whatever I have the time for.

NaNoWriMo Day 2: 2,370/30,000

Me? Actually on track for once? Who would have thought. Although again, I was just going to write a bit for the outline and ended up... not doing that. That outline will be finished someday. Hopefully. Because if I don't the second half of this will be painful. But I definitely found my writing groove again. Yesterday I got super anxious on whether or not I was writing well, but today I was just able to write. Hopefully this trend keeps up.

Love the fact my NaNoWriMo mc is a farmer so they make a bunch of farming analogies, but I haven’t actually figured out the plants of my world yet so a bunch of my draft is ‘The bustling noise of people overpowered the environment like weeds on a [INSERT PLANT HERE] field.’ At least it’s getting the word count up.

NaNoWriMo Day 1: 840/30,000

I honestly was just going to write the outline down today, but I wanted to get down the one page prologue first and uh... went into hyperfocus. To be fair a lot of that time was just trying to figure out how the beginning scenes should play out instead of writing them. I like the idea of being a pantser in theory but I am really bad at it. Ah well, I'll get that done tomorrow.
