this part is fucking killing meeeee like. no matter which choice you do it ends with having to do 'whatever is necessary'. like the parallels between Solas and Rook. what lengths will you go to in order to 'protect' the people who don't listen? what lengths will you go to in order to justify your actions? what will they say about you after? what will they call you? was the outcome worth it?

(sidenote: havent finished the game yet so no spoilers)

one of my favourite bits from veilguard so far was meeting the inquisitor bc. you had 3 dwarves (harding, rook, inquisitor). and rook got a chance to say like “so everyone else wrecks the world and it’s always up to the dwarves to fix it huh?”
