cctv shows mysterious man saving shopkeeper
on feb 21, 2019 in adana, tĂŒrkiye, around 21:30, serdar binici was gathering items from the front of his store, getting ready to close, when a mysterious man suddenly tapped his shoulder and said âlook behind youâ at the exact right moment, pulling him back jst in time and saving him from what couldâve been a fatal accident. completely taken aback in shock, serdar could not see the man anywhere aroundddd. a moment many have since called a âguardian angelâ or hızırâŠ
(㣠Âș - Âș Ï) ???
according to multiple turkish news sources, when serdar quickly turned, he noticed the rear metal door of a passing white truck (which i had assumed was jst a road gate) swinging toward him w full force! luckily, he dodged it jst in time. had the unidentified man not alerted him, serdar believes he would not be alive today. the truckâs tailgate even hit the wall of a nearby house after passing the shop o.O the driver later returned to the store to apologise to serdar, but the mysterious man had long vanished and was never seen again⊠serdar wanted to thank him for saving his life. still in shock, after reviewing the security footage, serdar could not identify who it was. i mean, even i canât make out a single facial feature of this mysterious man, though he was only an armâs length from serdar, and itâs not like he was walking fast either. meanwhile, you can clearly see at least serdarâs nose and eyebrows. very intriguing
â okkk! pause ;) so whoâs hızır, you ask? hızır (aka alâkhidr) is a legendary figure in turkish folklore, sufism, and islamic tradition. heâs known for hidden wisdom, divine mercy, and showing up exactly when someone needs help. folklore calls him a mysterious protector; sufism sees him as a guide and symbol of spiritual insight. heâs also connected to hıdırellez, the spring festival celebrating renewal, life, and blessings. in islamic texts, hızır is a sacred figure gifted by God w knowledge beyond ordinary human understanding. hızır intervenes invisibly, helping ppl, esp in difficult situations. anyway, thatâs the gist. i rec personal research if you wanna dive in :)
the cctv footage sparked widespread speculations, theories, and obv international attention. below, dha (turkish news outlet) interviews serdar, where he recounts that very night in his own words (loose translation for context). ahh!! this story fascinates me every time i think about ittt. was it hızır, an angel, or jst another passerby? glad you are alive today serdar abi waahhh :O
have you ever had a moment where it felt like a guardian angel was looking out for you? maybe even burnt toast⊠iykyk ;) âĄ

The Mowing-Devil (1678), or, the Earliest Known Depiction of a Crop Circle
In October 2019, my friend @charmwasjess and I saw something unexpained while driving a dirt road on a decrepit farm in east Appalachia. I'm still not sure what it was; we call it the wrist monster.
They never call it summoning.
They call it a game.
It always starts the same way, someone dares someone else, laughter too loud for the hour, lights snapping off like courage being tested. A bathroom becomes a stage where tiles are cold under bare feet, a single candle trembling as if it already knows whatâs coming. The mirror waits, patient and unforgiving.
âSay her nameâ someone whispers.
Once feels silly.
Twice feels wrong.
By the third time, the air thickens, and the room forgets how to breathe.
Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary
The mirror stops behaving like glass. Faces stretch, shadows linger too long, eyes donât blink when they should. Your reflection begins to feel like a stranger who knows your thoughts. Thatâs when laughter dies, because something has changed, and everyone feels it at once.
Some say she appears behind you.
Some say she smiles from your own face.
Some say the candle flickers, and for a heartbeat, the mirror is empty, like you were never there at all.
They scream. They turn on the lights. They swear nothing happened. But mirrors remember.
For nights afterward, reflections seem slower. Bathrooms feel crowded even when youâre alone. And sometimes, just before sleep, youâll hear your name, whispered the way hers was.
The game doesnât end when the lights come back on. It ends when she decides sheâs been seen enough.
Bloody Mary is one of the most famous mirror legends, it is simple, terrifying, and passed around in whispers at sleepovers.
Who she is depends on who is telling the story, there are a couple of different variations to her story.
The Murdered Woman
In this version she was silenced, and the world moved on without her. Now her name is the only thing that tethers her to existence, whispered in bathrooms and hallways where no one plans to stay. She rises in mirrors not to punish, but to be acknowledged, to make someone feel the weight of seeing her, the way no one did when it mattered. Her anger is quiet, heavy, and soaked in grief; every appearance is a reminder that being remembered is sometimes all the justice the dead are given.
The Condemned Witch
She helped where she could, and that was enough to damn her. Feared for knowing too much and loved only when she was useful, she was forced to face her own reflection as judgment was passed. Now she lingers in mirrors, carrying the ache of betrayal, her eyes tired rather than cruel. When she comes, it feels less like a curse and more like the penance of someone who was punished for her kindness and never been given the chance to explain.
The Blood Bathing Queen
She was taught that beauty was survival and aging was a death sentence long before the crown touched her head. The mirrors became enemies, measuring her worth in years and lines, whispering that love would vanish with her youth. In legend she is monstrous, but in the glass she is only afraid, clutching at eternity because no one ever promised she would be loved when time finally caught her.
The Ritual Born Spirit
She had no life before the chanting, no name before the dare. Each time someone calls for her, she becomes a little more real, stitched together from fear, laughter, and expectation. She doesnât haunt mirrors because she wants to, she does it because that is the only role she was ever given. And when the room goes quiet, she fades again, lingering in the ache of a being created solely to be feared and never meant to be understood.
No two people agree on what happens after her name is spoken. But everyone agrees on one thing âSomething follows you backâ.
Those who summon her rarely leave untouched. Some notice their reflection lagging, eyes lingering too long in the glass, as if something else is learning their face. Others carry her in sound, soft breaths in empty rooms, their own voice whispering back at night. A few wake with thin scratches or an unshakable sense of being watched, not with hatred, but with quiet expectation. And some arenât harmed at all, just changed, left with the heavy knowledge that they called a once human spirit into the word⊠and then you found out she isnât human no more.
How to survive..
Donât mock her.
Never turn your back on the mirror.
End what you began.
Leave the room calmly.
Avoid mirrors afterward.
The oldest rule, spoken rarely but always seriously:
If you see her, acknowledge her. Not with a scream. Not with defiance. Just recognition.
Possible encounters..
At a grimy sleepaway camp on an island near Seattle, a group of eight-year-old girls dared each other to play Bloody Mary in a dark, decaying bathroom lit only by distant cabin lights. When the narrator bravely stepped up and chanted her name into the mirror, noting happened at first, until the mirror suddenly cracked on its own. The other girls fled screaming, but she saw something move behind her in the glass. she eventually ran back to her cabin, shaken and scraped, and by morning they laughed it off like a childhood scare, but years later, the memory of that mirror cracking still unsettles her. What troubles her most is realizing how many people may carry similar stories they never speak about.
Some say Bloody Mary doesn't harm those who treat her like what she once was, not a monster. But a woman who was called.. and finally answered.
Tell me reader, have you ever called on Mary in the dark?

DOGMAN
The Dogman is a cryptid that has been reported primarily in the United States, particularly in Michigan, Wisconsin, and other parts of the Midwest. It is described as a bipedal, wolf-like creature with the body of a man and the head of a dog or wolf. Here are some detailed points about the Dogman:Â
Origins and History: The legend of the Dogman dates back to Native American folklore, but it gained widespread attention in the late 20th century. One of the earliest modern reports came from Michigan in 1887. The story was popularized by a song called "The Legend" by Steve Cook, which aired on a Michigan radio station in 1987.
Physical Description: Witnesses describe the Dogman as standing around 6 to 7 feet tall, with a muscular build and covered in fur. Its eyes are often reported to glow, and it has sharp teeth and claws. The creature is said to walk on two legs, though it can also run on all fours.
Behavior and Sightings: Sightings of the Dogman often describe it as a nocturnal creature that is elusive and shy, yet potentially aggressive if provoked. Many encounters occur in rural or forested areas. Witnesses have reported seeing the Dogman crossing roads, lurking near homes, or even peering into windows.
Explanations and Theories: There are several theories about what the Dogman could be. Some believe it is a misidentified animal, such as a large dog or wolf. Others think it could be a hoax or an urban legend fueled by mass hysteria. Cryptozoologists suggest it might be an undiscovered species or a relic population of prehistoric creatures.
Cultural Impact: The Dogman has become a part of local folklore and has been featured in various media, including books, documentaries, and television shows. It has a dedicated following among cryptid enthusiasts and paranormal investigators. The Dogman remains one of the more mysterious and intriguing cryptids, with ongoing reports and investigations keeping the legend alive.
