Yesterday marked 2yrs of thriving with HIV. I've been undetectable for 22 of those months. The scariest part was, honestly, the month leading up to my diagnosis. I thought I had a really bad case of food poisoning - loss of appetite, runny bowels, and general exhaustion. I thought it would pass, but it didn't. I began having severe night sweats, my hair was falling out, I'd dropped down to 140Lbs (I'm 6'4" btw), I couldn't stand to shower because the steam made me lightheaded, I couldn't wear dress shoes to work because they were just too heavy, and I frequently thought I would pass out at any moment.
