One of my favorite images from some work for @bearfoxchalk. We have a whimsical large scale design coming up this weekend in Minneapolis, so head over and follow along if you'd like. We had an idea for this business about three days before finding out, *surprise* I'm pregnant. It was one of those moments that I will never forget where Max and I both had that crazy look in our eyes filled with excitement and we decided then and there to pour our whole heart into it together while the Beane grew inside my belly. We lived in a tiny apartment, lived paycheck to small paycheck, shared the smallest desk, and almost immediately had chalk and chalkboards scattered everywhere. That crazy look in our eyes is still there, and kinda changes these days for a lot of reasons but mostly we are so deeply grateful we took the risk together. It's been a pretty great adventure so far. #BearFoxChalk

Sometimes life running our own business is insane and we question all the work involved, the long hours and effort, but most days we stop and look at each other and can't believe we actually get to do this for a living. A few years ago when we didn't really know what was ahead, Max applied to Whole Foods to be their FT chalk artist and didn't get the job. In starting BFC we made huge, weird sacrifices like being caretakers at an apartment building to save money so we could start this company. And now we are so thankful everyday to work together and spend our full days with each other and couldn't be more grateful to so many people for believing in us and supporting us so far. It's always exciting to not really quite know what's ahead, but to just keep doing what we love with those we love around us. We couldn't really ask for much more. I am so thankful for this man who is my whole world and I adore working with him. #BearFoxChalk
