I'm a little biased, but Canada is amazing and you should definitely give it a try! I'm a Canadian currently living in England and I was afraid of all the changes too but tbh it's not that difficult to get used to. It's mostly little differences like vocabulary, honestly. Where in Canada were you thinking of going?

It’s a real struggle some days to not just break out the profanity, so we’re glad that our efforts are appreciated! I (Joseph), in particular, have the view that just swearing at them is a sign of laziness and lack of better things to say, the verbal equivalent of shooting from the hip–and I much prefer verbal sniper rifles, with a few well-chosen and devastating words as opposed to an unaimed spew. :)

Pastel green or pastel pink. Short. Can talk about anything and will speak with great passion and articulacy. Expansive gestures. Generally a calm person, though? Still. The -ia ending, to me, always suggests a colour sort of bleeding, diffusing, of a bright or vibrant colour into a clear or white pool. I like the roundness of the u sound, it’s like one of those massive soft hugs, when someone has noticeably wider shoulders than you and you just feel enfolded? I have an awesome relative called Julia who is an art historian and works in museums/galleries.
