In 1973, Disneyland's tree stump trash cans, originally found in the rugged setting of Tom Sawyer Island's Fort Wilderness in Frontierland, briefly appeared in a very different Fort Wilderness: the campground at Walt Disney World. BearSaver trash cans are commonly found in national parks and campgrounds, which explains their presence in Fort Wilderness at Walt Disney World. Designed to be bear-resistant, these rugged enclosures help prevent wildlife from accessing human food, which can have obvious negative consequences. This white CE Series model is also in use at Coronado Springs, featuring a standard enclosure and a small decal for resort branding. Disney uses the same bear-resistant cans to theme Fort Wilderness campground as the National Park Service often deploys in their parks. These UnMagical trash cans, manufactured by Securr's BearSaver division, are located at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
