In 1973, Disneyland's tree stump trash cans, originally found in the rugged setting of Tom Sawyer Island's Fort Wilderness in Frontierland, briefly appeared in a very different Fort Wilderness: the campground at Walt Disney World. CanFan Christine Kurash discovered this scene in a vintage photo album from her grandparents and later recreated the shot during a 2019 visit to the Fort - where BearSaver cans are now in use. // Walt Disney World, Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Landing, 1973 & 2019 [Source: Christine Kurash.
