@onecutekat @bearwithoutpaws rip... Most places here charge bleaching and dying as 2 separate processes, so it’s $80-90 min for each. Plus an extra $50+ if your hair is long or thick, and mine is both. But I guess that’s standard for ~salons~, esp in this city.
I’ll definitely look for cosmetology schools and whatnot, esp because I don’t want smth fancy, just a simple one-color bleach and dye. But whenever I’ve gone to beauty schools over the years, the color has always washed out within weeks, so I’m wondering if it’s worth it to just bite the bullet, save up, and get a good job done by a salon so I don’t have to do anything for a year.
