Ik it’s just like a random tumblr poll but like circling back to that sports poll thing its like, I think american football is on the mind more just bc of current discussions around it and the superbowl and all that, but I hate it for the exploitation of the (predominantly Black from what I understand) players while putting them at immense physical risk for entertainment. People who know more about it than me have condemned it harshly and completely
And then golf on the other hand is just such a complete and utter disgusting waste in how much land it requires to be stripped down and maintained in a “pristine” clear cut mown down state to be usable for the game. It’s just so horrible for the ecosystens where courses are built
I truly hate them both the former is just especially visible in this moment and the latter is just the one more consistently visible to me (since I don’t watch football but especially when down south its impossible to not see golf courses all the time). They’re both awful
i dont watch a lot of vloggers but my favorite kind of vlogs r definitely usually more “regular people daily life” vlogs with less verbal commentary or constant fast paced attention grabbing cuts. my favorites that i can think of r solo travel japan (not rlly “daily life” but i really like the vibes i especially like the overnight ferry videos) and morenikejis vlogs those are like the two that i like to catch up with. especially solo travel japan cause those r my chill bedtime videos lol
i feel very strongly that all artists and celebrities should be critiqued when its relevant and it Will always be relevant at some point or another. i think the broader culture around celebrities and idolization of them actually does a lot of harm politically and i think that Includes whichever artist someone thinks is actually immensely skilled and has made massive artistic contributions to the world. they probably are! the probably did! and i still think it applies to them. i just dont rlly have the smart words to explain my thoughts on the damage this culture does to us from a political and class related point of view but ik theres people out there who talk abt it much better than i can
mutuals i care abt u i hope ur having a good evening/whatever time it is for u rn
why r there always new fancy trendy water bottles now
been having so much trouble making practically any art at all ever since my last burst of energy making especially oc stuff last year. i think part of it is wrapped up in how i’ve been having trouble thinking about making art without thinking about showing people it
even “cotton” clothes in stores are 50% polyester i hate this bullshit
