I realized how common mammalian beasts were for Beauty and the Beast retellings, as well as how much Kai's monster form and Nana's wereform looked similar both in color and vibes...
SO I DECIDED TO SCRAP HIS OLD DESIGN AND GIVE HIM A BRAND NEW ONE
Griffins are cool mythical creatures and I feel it'd be fitting for Kai to have his curse cause him to turn into one. I'm def gonna tinker with him some more but I am very happy with the change and I can already imagine Jack, Nana, Pin, and Ashe piled on his back as he attempts to fly for some fast travel.
Every year, Kai's king form gets a slight makeover I leaned more into a lion in appearance bc the main made sense with his long hair. That and it's widely referred to as the king of beasts.
