i swear i saw something about paru itagaki saying that if beastars is twilight, edward is haru because she's more assertive and legoshi is bella because he's more passive but i disagree!!!
who else loathes their own instincts like legoshi does? "you're like my own personal brand of heroin"--you can't tell me legoshi wouldn't tell haru that if he was in a cringe early 2000s YA romance novel!
also breaking dawn, when bella is literally begging edward to give her the sparkly disco stick--is this not haru expressing sexual desires and legoshi being spooked by them
not to mention the theme of do i love her or do i want to devour her. the parallels are so good
