Hmm. Two of our fictives don't have canon English VAs but do are fine with voices they have in Japanese. Our Legosi doesn't typically talk like the voice Jonah Scott gives him, but he still vibes with it. Freddy REALLY likes his Special Delivery voice, and Wolf likes his Smash Ultimate voice but prefers his Brawl voice.
