Synopsis: Makoto has long been ostracized because of his odd hobbies and a sexual kink others would see as disgusting. One day he finds a book on summoning demons and manages to summon the intimidatingly beautiful and rather chatty Archduke J. The demon offers to grant Makoto’s deepest twisted desire in exchange for his life. Once Makoto has sated his demented appetites, he fulfills his end of the bargain, only to find he’s been reborn as a monster…in hell!

Quick Thoughts: This manga isn’t for the faint of heart. It’s not the worst thing you’ll ever read, but for those who aren’t used to this level of gore or sexual violence, it can be a lot, and possibly even traumatizing. That said, the art style is some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. The story itself touches on topics like desire, obsession, domination, and love. I actually used this manga in my "Body Horror as Love" panel, had a lot of fun deconstructing it. Please read with caution.

Synopsis: Luka Edelmondt Finsternis is your picture-perfect vampire—he’s good looking, he’s regal… He’s also usually incredibly hungover and exhausted, and wants nothing more than a change of pace from his routine! When he takes a peek into the human world, he finds just the cure he’s looking for—a relaxing Japanese bathhouse that will surely cure him of his hangover and rejuvenate him from head to toe. To blow his fatigue out of the water, Luka pays a visit to Full Moon Baths where he meets the bathhouse’s eldest son, Sakura. But between the bathhouse being short staffed and taking care of his little brother, Sakura has enough to worry about without a bougie vampire being added to the mix!

Quick Thoughts: The art was so soft and pretty!! Overall, a heartwarming story with a few failed seduction attempts and so much charm! I wish this weren't a one-shot; I'm still in denial.
