I just need to know you see the heavy Suitcase mischaracterization to right? Like I’m not making this shit up and her writing is that atrocious and ooc. any scene that could be slightly serious in any way is brushed off so a character can say a silly little quip, it feels like theyre shoving incorrect quotes into it.

it's really obvious for her bc for this new season they've kind of decided to make her like...deadpan sassy girlboss??? i feel like the idea was to show her "getting over her anxiety+people pleasing" a little bit but this is a full 360 swing in the other direction and her past issues were not addressed and she's just a completely different person.
i neeed to stop using the word quip but they're not writing characters theyre writing quips. the thjng u said about it seeming like the first draft of everything is so true it seems like they brainstormed a bunch of crack ooc lines and built everything around that. There is NO tension there aren't any serious character or dynamic moments
they also want to say everything instead of showing it which is why i keep saying "therapyspeak joker" like 99% of characters have to be self aware of 99% of their issues And joke abt it with the audience so it doesn't have any weight anyway and nothing comes of it. Telling not showing in a really weird way, thats why im saying "lampshading" too it's like the characters are trying to lampshade...themselves??? it's baffling.
somehow the newer characters have less of that issue, probably bc theyre newer so the fandom couldnt influence them yet lmao.
it's crazy how much this new season (and the conclusion of iis2) is clearly trying to pander to fandom. shipbaiting for the most popular characters, only some of the most popular characters getting the bluespray (i forgot what it's called u_u) even though if u think for like.. 2 seconds. at LEAST balloon shouldvr gotten it too?? (just like how the bright lights' deaths in iis2 finale were treated as much more important than the grand slams': their lives are treated as more important in this new season too)
unfortunately mostly the fandomized ooc version of suitcase is the fan favorite version of her so theyre getting away with that. Whateverrr uses my psychic powers to throw everything across the room
