Well, put it this way: I wound myself up so tightly with nerves that I was looking up fun phrases to say in Klingon to act as an emergency ice-breaker. (The winner was "lupDujHomwIj luteb gharghmey", which roughly translates to "My hovercraft is full of eels".)

I did not speak Klingon in my interview. This was probably for the best. Possibly because of this, I apparently managed to do a passable enough impression of a person who knew their shit, because they gave me the funding! :D I'M GOING TO BE A BRAIN SCIENTIST.

YES this is late but bless ur everlasting soul 

if roy ever decides to write a memoir from the hard-backed mahogany fuhrer's chair (he'll be in that office 'til he dies), he'll have to devote at least 3/4ths of it to the data he's collected about edward elric. 

not that he hasn't done a lot of important things- passed laws, saved amestris (and a lot of terrible things too- committed genocide, killed in cold blood, sacrificed others)- but all of this pales in comparison to the pomegranate-red stain of ed's lips against his glass and the curl of spun gold at his temples. reaching out to run the back of his hand against the back of ed's neck earns him a piercing glare. the wine glints like blood under hospital lights. 

roy thinks of the myth ed had brought back from the other side, of spring and fall and red seeds slipping through fingers and down throats, and he feels horribly scared and terribly exhilarated and corporeal, transcendent, alive.

I kinda specialize in Jane Foster tag hate (well I use to before I got co-mods and they helped me branch out).  But yeah I can't keep up with what happens to her in fanfiction, like at all, :/ if anyone wants to go on a "fishing expedition" and collect examples of hate please let me know! (I made this its own post so it would show up in the tags but I highly recommend the original post so you see what I'm referring to by "fishing expedition").
