“Of course not, it would make my life very difficult if I was who I actually am,” Beatrice said as though it was obvious. There wasn’t a box that she fit in well enough for her to be a bit more transparent with the rest of the world. But she knew how to take care of herself, maybe something most people wouldn’t assume just by looking at her.

“Do you think I’m past repair?” Beatrice asked and it felt weird for her to be so vulnerable. But the glass of wine was hitting her in the wrong place at the wrong time. And the episode of law & order that was meant to be in the background ended up hitting home a little harder.

“I’m fine, it’s not mine,” Beatrice managed to get out, her voice sounding a little rougher than she would have liked. She brought the glass of water back to her mouth and drank deeply. It had been a while since anyone had tried to find her, it had been even longer since anyone was a real credible threat to her. “Not so sure about him though.”

what’s one incredibly mundane skill your muse is secretly really good at?

She’s surprisingly very good at very domestic things. She’s a talented baker and cook. She likes to crochet and usually has knitting needles somewhere in her apartment.

what’s a “blink and you miss it” detail about how you write your muse?

I think she does a pretty shitty job at hiding the fact that she still hasn’t processed the trauma of losing her privacy. She is painfully aware of how other people see her and it is a concern of hers, no matter how much that fact frustrates her.

what’s a conspiracy theory your muse would totally believe in?

She thinks George Bush was a little bit aware 9/11 happened. She also has a general rule of not trusting the governments word on things.

if your muse ran a youtube channel, what would it be about?

There is no way that she’s doing anything near psychology, she’s seen how nuts Youtube viewers can be. So she’d probably have a cooking channel. Probably something like My Drunk Kitchen.

Beatrice was stabbed repeatedly on her shoulder when she was originally caught off guard by Michael breaking into the house. She was cut on the neck but not deeply. The higher stab was the knife going through.

1 Captured - Michael Myers has been returned to the psychiatric facility that he had been housed. He was then moved to a different maximum facility three years ago.

1 Survived—Beatrice still has to deal with weirdos quite frequently. There are many Michael fanboys despite the man literally never talking. She works as a psychiatrist for a minimum-security facility.

17 Deceased - Between the hospital and the neighborhood where Beatrice was babysitting and lived, 17 people died that night. Most of them were killed by Michael, but a few were horrifying extenuating circumstances.

“I haven’t gone on vacation in a year, I am going to be enjoying every second of this vacation,” Beatrice said, adjusting her sunglasses before resting herself back down onto the blanket resting on the sand. No one else was around, but it was so worth the peace.
