We are safe and dry
Our house is safe and dry, at one point we had water creeping up our back steps.
A few streets down they were not so lucky, most of my friends and classmates from uni lost everything. I mean cars, their furniture, their apartments or houses. Everything was underwater. People on facebook are still requesting rescues from the navy, coast guard, and cajun navy. This is far from over, we are heartbroken.
Please be wise with donation dollars we will likely never see the millions donated to the Red Cross.
Update:It is the strangest reality hearing rescue helicopters overhead.

🚗💥 Diagnosing Knee Injuries in Beaumont, TX: What to Expect and How to Get Real Relief
Knee pain has a way of disrupting everyday life fast. One awkward twist, a sudden stop, a fall, or even a minor car accident can turn simple movements like climbing stairs or getting out of a chair into a painful challenge. Unfortunately, many people in Beaumont wait too long to get evaluated, assuming the pain will eventually go away on its own.
The reality is that many knee injuries involve underlying structural damage such as ACL tears, meniscus injuries, ligament sprains, tendon inflammation, or cartilage degeneration. Without a proper diagnosis, these conditions can gradually worsen and lead to chronic pain, instability, and long-term mobility issues. That is why early evaluation, imaging when necessary, and targeted rehabilitation are so important for recovery.
This detailed guide breaks down:
Common causes of knee pain and injury
ACL, MCL, and meniscus tear symptoms
When swelling and instability become serious warning signs
How doctors diagnose knee injuries using physical exams, X-rays, and MRI scans
Non-surgical treatment and rehabilitation options
Recovery timelines and what to expect during healing
If you are dealing with persistent knee pain, sports injuries, work-related strain, or post-accident discomfort, this resource explains what to expect and how to get real relief before the problem becomes more serious.
Soft Tissue Injury Treatment in Beaumont, TX: Your Recovery Roadmap
Ever feel like that "nagging" pain from working in the yard, training for a run at Fletcher Park, or handling a long day at the job just won't go away? You aren't alone. In Beaumont, we pride ourselves on staying active, but whether you are managing a physically demanding job or simply keeping up with a busy family life, your muscles, tendons, and ligaments are under constant pressure.
Many people mistake soft tissue injuries—like muscle strains, ligament sprains, and chronic tendinitis—for simple, temporary "soreness." However, ignoring these symptoms is a common mistake that often leads to chronic inflammation, the development of thick, disorganized scar tissue, and long-term mobility issues. When your body sends a pain signal, it is not just asking for a few days of rest; it is asking for a structured plan to ensure the tissues remodel and regain their structural integrity.
Professional soft tissue injury treatment is the most effective way to break this cycle and return to your regular routine safely. Rather than relying on passive rest, a multi-disciplinary approach—involving chiropractic alignment, targeted pain management, and physical therapy—allows your body to heal without forming compensatory movement patterns that lead to secondary pain.
For those seeking a deeper dive into the mechanics of these injuries and why "non-accident" triggers are so frequent, we have compiled an in-depth breakdown of causes and effective recovery strategies.

🛑 The 72-Hour Rule: Why You Shouldn't Trust an ER X-Ray After a Car Crash
Did you know that adrenaline acts as a massive, natural painkiller immediately after a car accident? Many people walk away from a rear-end collision feeling totally "fine," only to wake up three days later with shooting nerve pain or a stiff neck they can barely move.
Here is the medical reality most people don't know: If you went to the Emergency Room, they likely gave you an X-ray. ERs use X-rays to check for broken bones and life-threatening bleeding. But X-rays completely miss soft-tissue injuries where 90% of auto trauma happens—like whiplash, torn ligaments, and herniated discs.
You have a critical 72-hour window where localized inflammation peaks and these hidden injuries are most visible. If you wait weeks for a standard hospital MRI appointment, dense scar tissue begins to form incorrectly, making recovery much harder.
📖 Learn the Science: To understand exactly how this timeline works, read this comprehensive medical guide on Why Getting Fast Medical Imaging After a Beaumont Car Accident Changes Everything.
Don't wait for a hidden injury to turn into chronic, lifelong pain. If you are in Southeast Texas and need immediate answers, the specialists at Car Accident Cares provide same-day walk-in evaluations and fast MRI imaging to protect your spine and your future.
