Rosalie . . . rosalie . . . cullen. . . . hale? The first time he had heard her name Carlisle had asked him to come.  He was only a state away when he said that she had killed some men, but Garrett didn’t question it and he came running. He and Carlisle cleaned up what was left while Esme was with the girl and he hadn’t seen her until he entered their home, and there she was. She wasn’t pretty - no not like the other girls. Her beauty was something to be marveled at, a helen of troy type. When he saw their bodies he could only guess the jist of what had happened, but it made him even more delighted to rip them to pieces and bury the bodies across state lines. Leaving the last body she had slain was easy enough, propping him up to make it look like someone had come in and done him dirty. Garrett had even called in a few favors from the guys he had met in the twenties.

but just as she was beautiful she was just as clever, he had noticed no bite marks in them. He thought the angry Cullen stupid, any vampire would have been glad to have her even look their way and here he had rejected her for nothing but a lonely bed and a sullen life.  He looked to Edward after he thought it, emphasizing that he was stupid.  Smart and easy on the eyes. You could do worse kid.

❛ i  think  time  AWAY  would  be  good  for  you. ❜ a  gentle  suggestion,  words  drifted  among  wood  been  torn  from  shambled  home; another  remodel  project  to  pass  time  &&  empty  home  of  her  own  when  others  were  away  for  daily routines.  they  had  all  the  time  in  the  world  ---  quite  literally.  ❛ we  can  handle  things  here,  you  deserve  to  have  time  for  yourself. ❜   a  moment  to  breathe,  collect  herself  in  spindled web  of  threats  &&  danger  their  lives  had  become. she  wanted  nothing  but  happiness  for  those  she  cared  so  deeply  &&  scowls  placed  on porcelain features of  dearest  daughter  only  plagued  her  further.
