Review of Beautymory’s Cell Growth-D Premium Moisture Base
Beauty Mory is a Korean brand based on the unique know-how of aesthetics and a deep understanding of skin health. Instead of using ingredients that irritate the skin for a sparkling effect for a moment, they instead offer high-quality ingredients from Europe that provide the right path to radical skin improvement. Their Cell Growth-D Premium Cream is a cell energy & detoxification cream. It's also an energizer anti-aging cream that is based on an innovative cosmetic concept. Key ingredients include: peanut oil (moisturizing, anti-blackhead, skin-smoothing, promotes blood flow, hydrating, anti-acne), jojoba seed oil (moisturizing, controls excess oil, soothing, anti-aging, reduces undereye circles), algin (moisturizing, moisture-preserving, hydrating) and ubiquinone (rejuvenating, antioxidant, skin protecting, anti-aging, anti-sun damage, prevents breakdown of collagen). To quickly note, I received this for a small fee from 0.8 Liter for my honest review, this post is not sponsored.
This product contains 30 ml (1.01 oz) and comes with a pump. It has kind of a nicer quality cream scent with a little hint of astringency.
The packaging is very slick and a nice size. It's designed for all skin types.
The cream contains little pink color beads and the cream is slightly tinged pink.
It smooths out easily over the skin and absorbs quickly.
This product is also marketed as a makeup base, the texture is lighter than a basic moisturizer and does have a silky feeling on my skin.
Recommended use is after using toner in the morning and evening, spread the cream evenly over the entire face. After using, I typically applied this after my serum and applied my makeup over that. It blended in very easily and really left a smooth texture. I think this moisturizer is ideal for people with normal, combination or oily skin, it's not exactly moisturizing enough for very dry skin. I noticed that a little while after applying my BB cushions I would see dry patches and I noticed this with two different BB cushions. The first BB cushion is one that is pretty moisturizing and so the dry patches were a little obvious even though I had exfoliated before this. I honestly think that this product was not moisturizing enough for my dry dry skin.
What I like: this product is very light and does give the skin a very clear appearance and the scent is light and dissipates quickly. The ingredients are very nice and I didn't see or notice any irritation. The packaging is really nice and I love the pump and the little-colored beads in the cream. What I don't like: this product is something I thought would be more moisturizing but I really noticed more dry patches than there should've been, especially after exfoliating. I don't think this did anything for my makeup as far as keeping it on for a long period of time.
Pros:
Moisturizing
Hydrating
Good ingredients
Smooths out my skin texture
Light moisturizer
Has a pump
Cons:
Not as moisturizing as I would've liked
Didn't do much for my makeup
Left obvious dry patches
Would I buy again?
No
Rating: 5/10
