i fucking hated that shit.........so much. also it always felt like weird fanservice than actual organic story telling. jeff and britta were GROWN FOLK vibes. with annie, jeff was always walking the line of being like a father figure to her AND ALSO LIKE A LOVE INTEREST?? SHIT WAS MAD WEIRD.

right? rewatching and they often have jeff as a mentor figure to annie, which makes sense at his big age so it feels so damn bizarre to try and make it romantic, but not really, but kinda but not really, never committing to on or the other makes it extremely weird
