Currently giggling to myself at the thought of Hellen randomly stating whatever she’s currently feeling out loud ,, she can’t get her emotions across Normally so instead she just Tells You how she feels matter-of-factly and you just have to Trust Her

Thoughts on The Spider?

(So Sorry for the late response !! I didn’t see this in my inbox until recently ,, I’m not sure how I glossed over it ??)

Uhhhh uhm uh . I haven’t gotten The Spider in any of my playthroughs yet so I am a bit lacking in Knowledge about bro but . I managed to scrape a few things together ,,

Feels sort of hay-like to the touch ? Very prickly and coarse . If you’ve ever pet a goat it’s kinda like that . Also leaves your hand feeling a little bit Tingly for a few minutes afterwards

It/they pronouns for yonder thang

Puffs up like a cat when startled . I firmly believe that spider is covered in Some sort of fur or hair-like material ok

Also very very Cold . I believe there’s in-game text that says it ‘disappears into thin air’ or something along those lines if you kick it out, so I’m assuming The Spider is incorporeal at least to some degree ? It can still interact with the world , as it states that its body needs food and all that, and you can still interact with it fairly normally, but I think there would be Signs that it doesn’t exist Fully on this plane . One of those being that it doesn’t give off any body heat at all .

I’m not sure If it and Spine would get along but I like to think they would :)

I don’t . Remember if there’s any interactions between it and the kids but I think one of them definitely would’ve asked to ride it like a horse before . The kids racing eachother around the apartment with one of them on top of Spider , one on top of Lyle, and Rat Baby on top of Audrey ,, giggles ,,

Bro is So fucking dramatic actually . Maybe it’s just the Shakespearean accent or whatever it has going on but The Spider strikes me as the type of creature to say some ominous shit and then slowly back up while holding eye contact until it disappears into the shadows . Do you feel me

It is a little bit Intimidated by Hellen . It may not show it , but the knowledge/realization that she exists in multiple places and times at once Frightens it just a tad . in the same way that the game describes Spider as ‘uncharacteristically hesitant’ around The Masked Shadow

Not a Serious headcannon but . Y’know how it asks Lyle how he managed to recreate the world it’s from so well or whatever? Well imagine if The Spider is from a world where dnd/m&w is Real . Like straight-up just a one-to-one of your average dnd/m&w campaign

One of my OCs is a lesbian who is Deep in a river in Egypt about it + deals with Severe religious guilt surrounding her feelings . and she has a crush on another OC who , at the current point in the story , has not yet realized she is a trans woman . OC 1 tries to ‘justify’ her attraction to OC 2 by telling herself it’s okay because “he’s” just a man who enjoys more traditionally Feminine things . Little does she know !

OC 1 also coincidentally has a crush on yet another OC who is a (known) butch lesbian . She tries to use similar reasoning to ‘justify’ that as well , telling herself that it’s okay because she ‘looks like a man’
