A recap of my weekend @cityofsaintsla 2017 ... simply an amazing experience for all involved, teens and adults alike. 👬👫👭 This was Sacred Space in the Palisades Room in Carnesale Commons @ucla (thank you for hosting us! 👍🏼) I had the pleasure of meeting some awesome people; Br. Al, Gina and Liz who are part of the Salesian Ministry. The set up was geared toward youth to meet their needs and where they are in their faith journey. I loved it! I pray that even in a small way, they were able to experience Jesus' presence and love for them. 😇 I also got to say hello to dear friends of mine, seminarians and priests, who graciously gave their time and energy to accompany these young men and women throughout the whole weekend. From hearing confessions, to saying mass to listening and guiding them, to having some good times! There are no words to describe today's experience at church today on this #GoodFriday during the adoration of the cross, as soon as I kissed it something came over me and lifted everything I feared and gave me new hope. I was moved with tears and I am ever so thankful that Jesus died and came back to life, not just for me, but for the whole world so that we may be saved. There is truly no greater love story than that which lies in the white host during communion. #peace #love #faith #BeBold #BeBrave #BeCatholic (at Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul)
