So, a little over a month ago, I got myself a new camera and lens. I’d been toying with switching to Mirrorless for awhile, and by selling a couple of lenses I’d been meaning to sell, I was finally able to make the switch. And I have to say… it’s the best thing I’ve ever bought. Sometimes I hug the camera when no one is looking. I love it so, so much and it brings me a whole lot of joy. And being the accident prone, ADHD hurricane that I am, I’m going out of my way to try to take better care of it than I have past equipment. In an attempt to protect it from scratches and dust when it’s laying around my house or being thrown in my car to go birding, I ordered a protective sleeve for it (I prefer to call it “Camera Pajamas” because protective sleeve just sounds…). Anyways, all this today I had an Aurebesh patch made that says “Firepuncher” because I love this camera as much as Crosshair loves his rifle and I’m a great big nerd. And I’m absolutely delighted by it. Delighted I tell you!! 😂

Please read the lunar chronicles!! It's very good! A lovely concept!! Also I'm gonna recommend you 'never let me' by Kazuo ishiguro bc it's one of my faves and it about clones (it's not a manga I had to read it for an honors project)

I have Cinder on my Kindle, so I’m going to read it eventually, as well as the other ones in that series! And I will look up the other book!

i don't even think i have admired an actor as much as i admire tatiana maslany at the moment. i still can't get over the fact helena, alison, sarah, cosima, beth, katja, all of them, are impersonated by the same person, IT IS JUST TOO ABSURD? dude, part of the orphan black's scenes are basically ONLY TATIANA MASLANY, TATIANA MASLANY AS ALISON INTERACTING WITH TATIANA MASLANY AS SARAH, AND THE WHOLE THING IS SIMPLY FLAWLESS. like, no looking at the wrong way, no cosima showing up in sarah, and when helena was dressed as sarah, but it was just too convincing, and i just thought "whoa, sarah, your helena is showing". no, it was helena.

and man, that is one of the bazillion reason why everyone should watch orphan black, because tatiana maslany's acting is one of the biggest delights i have ever had while watching a tv show, and i am pretty sure that it is for everyone who also watched it. it's like everyone is tatiana maslany, it's like she can be anyone she wants. she can be me, you, shit, she can be a german woman and not make basically any mistake in accent.

fucking tatiana maslany, man, fucking tatiana.
