The doc on my interpretation of Crosshair as schizoid is slow-going at the moment because of my job, but I can’t wait anymore to share this specific line from one of the sources I’m using.

In my own interpretation, this is what makes his relationship with Omega so compelling. She is exactly what he needs! She is kind and gentle and loving towards him despite everything, and she saves him!!! I guess that part of why this is so important to me is the idea of a character who has always wanted to be loved in this all-encompassing way actually getting what they want in the end.

I also wanted to point out this line: “the person with schizoid disorder often manifests an overtly aloof and self-sufficient appearance in his outer persona, while he internally experiences feelings of heightened sensitivity and emotional neediness.” Do I even have to explain this one? Probably not.

Why does the Black Series Imperial Crosshair have his specialized pauldron?? Like I get that they’re trying to make him more recognizable, but the whole POINT is that his Imperial armor is completely stripped of all individuality!!!
