Hey, I might actually get my haircut tomorrow!
FLOOF struggles.
Writing Challenge Extra: Lollipop Kittens
I lay down my head for a bit to try and get some rest, but my head wouldn’t calm down. It was just another one of those times where I just wished for everything to end. I’d already taken some tea to try and calm down. But at these times, that just didn’t work as much. It did help me stay calm and kept me from doing stupid things, but it didn’t make me feel any better. All it did was prevent things from getting worse, temporarily.
I turned to lie on my side and held my stuffed animal tightly against my chest. If only I had some real kittens to pet. I know it’d at least get my mind off of things. That, and kittens were cute and soft and just made me happy in general. But all I had was a stuffed animal, not even a friend nearby to hold me. Even though I longed for just that so badly. To be held, to be allowed to be weak. “You know that’s fine, right? Your friends won’t judge you. If anything, they’ll probably appreciate the fact that you’re telling them and might help you.” I know you want me to believe that. I want to believe it. But it’s hard.
I got up and walked around for a bit. I needed something-… I didn’t even know what. I needed something sweet I guess. My eye fell on the wrapper of a lollipop. I chuckled a little bit. Not that kind of sweetness. Although I now did feel like having a lollipop. And kittens. Floof.
