Last year’s revival basically reignited my love for Gilmore Girls, and every time I watch that particular exchange in that particular episode, I want to write a dance scene for Farah and Deacon. And use the above quotes. Because that is so Deacon. He would so lie about not knowing how to dance. And if he gathered enough courage to ask Farah to dance, she would so be surprised by how Deacon can waltz. I mean, of COURSE he can waltz. And possibly tango. And I should write a scene like that, right? I should. Maybe. I do need to practice romantic writing. Hmmmmm...
