Tbh, I slap a lot of myself into both Error and Ink. Ink gets my crippling anxiety, and Error gets my wack, sarcastic sense of humor to cope with the world-

#Some people act like that's just projection and therefore “cringe”#Well I say #Have you never heard of the idea that authors write what they know and put themselves into their characters #BECAUSE IT EXISTS #Most of my work is self-indulgent tbh #I write what I w a n t to see #Literally the entire reason my fic exists #is because I wanted a glorified Errorink fic with psychological horror; body horror; self-esteem issues galore; etc #But I knew I would literally never see it unless I wrote it myself #So don't feel bad if your work is self-indulgent #LIKE. THAT'S WHAT MOST WRITTEN LITERATURE IS??#Except not exactly. You don't necessarily condone everything you write #I could write the worst bastard of a man as the protagonist #but that doesn't mean I think he's a “swell guy” and you should actually beat your wife you know #Don't get me started on that; man #With the whole “you must only write only the safest stuff or otherwise you condone it”#I will go on a rant and who asked for that lmao
