not episode seven being called the red wedding-
If I had a nickel for every time I've drawn Kevin's stomach for kajtober, I'd have two nickels. It isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice
It is called the Storm by the Fatrat and Maisy Kay.
i'm not going to tell people it's my birthday
and see how many actually wish me a happy birthday
If you ever want to know what my priorities are like:
Today I realized I’m probably lactose intolerant.
I cried.
.
first elk=eleanor and now VIP tickets=they're fucking. WOW. compelling. truly
"#because I think thats part of the fun of the arc word#we notice it#hear it or see it#but don't know what it means until the big reveal" So true. Then you get Moffat with his: DOCTOR WHO??? DOCTOR WHO??? DOCTOR WHO DOCTOR WHO DOCTOR WHO HEY IT'S IMPORTANT DOCTOR WHO ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION LET ME SHOUT IT AT YOU MORE DOCTOR WHO??????????????
lol. Thus the final tag being 'when done well'.
I am not totally adverse to there being title drops along the way. I'm really not. But the way Moffat does it, it definitely comes across like someone getting in my face and screaming "DOCTOR WHO?". I don't really respond well to that anyway, but then to do it that way so many times and to make this big deal out of it as an 'arc' (I'm not really sure arc fits as a term here, because it's more a loose conglomerate of moments than an arc that leads somewhere until you get to S7 and the whole Name of the Doctor thing) and then to not answer the question you're presenting is just not going to work narratively either.
*For the record, of course I don't want him naming the Doctor, because the Doctor is his name, but to imply so heavily that that name is not enough and then cop out and say yes it is at the last moment does not work.
