Oh hell yes

1. Molly places kisses in random places whether they’re with the group or not; forehead, neck, hand, shoulder, ear, etc. The best ones are where Caleb won’t expect them to be. The more flustered, the better. Or headbutts, lots and lots of headbutts, seeing as though Tieflings like to headbutt or rub their horns together. But, since Caleb doesn’t have any horns, he just puts up with the man who rubs or puts their foreheads together, but deep down, he loves it, finds it almost every bit as intimate as Molly does.

2. Caleb walks up behind Molly and hugs him, arms wound tightly around his waist at very odd times. No words are exchanged, he just holds him and either buries his face in his back or lays his cheek against his shoulder. They stand there for a few moments, just enjoying the closeness and silence, before Caleb retreats and is aloof for a few days.

3. Odd trinkets are exchanged between the two. Nothing big and fancy, just something that the notice the other has eyed in a storefront or talked about in passing. Books, paper, magic ink, rings, jewelry, even a pair of gloves at one point in time. And never directly, always indirectly (shoving them in their pockets in passing, in their bags while they’re out of the room, etc)

4. Making sure that the other is fed, has had something to drink, and had enough rest. If any of these things have not been satisfied, the other trots off and gets whatever is needed. If it’s sleep, the other keeps watch. Molly likes to put his head in Caleb’s lap and nap while the other reads (nonchalant or unfazed by the other’s invasive sleeping position). Caleb likes to sleep curled with Frumpkin and Nott, but occasionally have Molly’s hand running through his trusses (Molly could give a shit if he’s bathed or not)

5. Banter. Lots of banter. Snarky comments, back and forth arguing. “Eat shit and die” -Caleb sitting against a wall, face buried in his book; “Yes, fuck you too.” - Molly blows him kisses or winks at him while meditating or doing his nightly rituals
