What do you teach? I taught history for a while in China, and I was good at it (not English, tho, ugh), but it definitely wasn't for me. Glad to know you love it so much.
I teach high school history! :D It's so much fun. I've taught World Religions, Modern World History, Asian Studies, and Mandarin 1 at a independent school for the past 6 years. I love 9th and 10th graders. I love teaching them argumentation and writing. I love teaching them about the Inca hegemonic system and the Industrial Revolution and Buddhist concepts of violence and the Council of Nicea and the migrant worker system in China and Partition and why Chinese tones are so crazy. Just... everything. Teaching is awesome and amazing. (But also stressful and full of drama.) However, I'm taking a break from teaching to do.... other education related things. I also teach Chinese at a heritage language school on the weekends. (It's like Hebrew school, but for Chinese kids)
