Mod opinion: I haven't heard of this book before and I probably won't read it myself, but if you enjoy romance more this could be cute!

What is one of your favorite scenes that you've written? And why does it spark joy?

Wow! That's a tough one. I like different scenes for different reasons. I'm going to sort of cheat and say any scene with Ma and Da MacDougall, because they are the parents every LGBTQIA kid would love to have. If you have parents like this, hug them tightly! They are supportive, accepting, no-nonsense, and adopt all of their kids' friends into the family.

A specific scene I love is in my book Embrace Me, and features Fraser (Da) MacDougall comforting his son, Quinn. There are open emotions, vulnerability, and comfort, and I love showing that it's not always the female characters who can access their emotions or offer comfort.

In case anyone is worried, I write no cheating, sweet, sexy, spicy, guaranteed happily ever afters. IMO it's fairly low angst, though that is subjective.

Hi! So, I don’t want to be a bother, but your AO3 collection “Earl’s Private Stash” being unrevealed means the rest of AO3 cannot read the fics you have in the collection. The two fics you are asking about are private now because have been or will be turned into published books. If one of your bookmarked stories is Save Me, you can find that in ebook form now here. If you're asking about LAWB and any of its spinoff fics those will be coming out early next year in ebook form. Both of these are in my Love in the Pacific Northwest series, obviously taken out of DA fandom and moved into a contemporary setting. This is going to be a six or seven-book series. I'm in the final edits of book 2 and that should be out soon.
