Time flies as this year’s HNMUN happened to be the 8th generation of Universitas Indonesia’s participation. We are extremely delighted to have sent the troops of 8 best armies to the battle field. All the hard work paid off as this marked the first award ever snatched by our alma mater. Woohoo!
Through extreme weather, we experience world’s oldest, biggest, and the most challenging Model United Nations conference. Shout out to the 61st session of Harvard National Model United Nations! Organized by Harvard International Relations Council, this year’s event was held at Marriott Copley Place in Boston, gathering up to 3000 delegates representing top universities from 70 different countries.
Indeed, this has become a life-changing moment for us. We really feel the touch of intense debate and tough negotiation, yet surrounded by extravagant friendship and parties!
We are also beyond excited to proudly announce our very first accomplishment during the course of UI for HNMUN Delegation history over the past 8 years. Yup, Universitas Indonesia snatched “Honorable Mention” award at High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPFSD) represented by the one and only Andhika Putra Sudarman (you can read the full article here: http://ui.id/y8oF9).
This is definitely a defining momentum for the future of our winning legacy! We finally become legends.
