Something New, Something Exciting

Now that I have finished editing the film, I can finally focus on other things revolving around the film. Such things like developing the Becoming Obsolete Facebook page, posting screenshots and working on the exciting things that I am constantly promising. I am doing my best to make sure that these are not empty promises, but I have had a lot to work on that I have had to prioritize first. So today I am hoping to work on something exciting. I plan on being able to start AND finish it today, so hopefully I will be able to upload it this afternoon. I won't say what it is, because I may not get it done at all. Wish me luck!

THE END IS NIGH!

Exciting news (for most but me)!

"Becoming Obsolete" shoots next week!

The final draft of the script is complete, the film is cast and the shoots are locked in!

So this could go very well and turn out to be very exciting. Or it could drive the director insane and be hell for all involved.

We can only hope for the former!

Music

Before I forget, one important bit of news!

The man behind the music for this film (weirdly enough, I am NOT composing music for this film at this point) should be recording music today.

I sat down a few weeks ago with my friend Leon Monaco and discussed music for my film and I will take no credit for what he came up. I am looking forward to hearing the recorded version of the song which I know will be amazing.

Leon is a very talented musician. I have played in bands with him before and I know he is an incredible creative person and that is why I have entrusted him with what I consider to be one of the key elements of this film.

An Introduction

Hi all!

This is the first post on the production blog for the upcoming film "Becoming Obsolete".

A short synopsis of the film can be found in the blogs description section.

Things on this blog are very limited at the moment but soon I believe I will be able to post so much more.

I am currently nearly finished what I believe will be the final draft of the script. It is looking about a million times better than it originally did and the excitement levels are raising.

I currently have one of the three required locations locked in, although I have to get a location agreement signed for this. 

So hang in tight! This should all get far more interesting soon!
