#nowreading Becoming The Forest issue 2 by Una Hamilton Helle. It's a unique black metal zine that focuses not only on the music, but how nature has inspired black metal today. While corpse paint and leather gauntlets are synonymous with black metal, it's arguably the Norwegian forest line that is even more prevalent in black metal imagery, as the spruce trees have most likely graced more album covers than the musicians themselves.
