Today, a couple of packages I ordered in late February arrived. The first was a separate canopy frame for my bed, because when I got the bed frame I didn’t get one with a canopy built in due to not realizing I’d want and have use for one. So I spent the latter half of my morning assembling that. And then a little past noon, my other package arrived.

These are ten randomized secondhand saris. I ended up not using the three neutral ones, because i didn’t need them to fill out the canopy. They will be put to use for a different project later.

This is the side view, curtains closed. I really like the green one with the gold and black peacock border. I like all of them but that is a very good shade of green.

And here is the interior with one side and the foot curtains drawn back. I didn’t super perfectly make my bed this morning cause I had Shit To Do, but it’s okay, it still looks comfy-cozy I think. The saris are all just kind of draped in place, except at the head of the bed. There, the corners are tied to the bed frame along the bottom bar of the headboard, so that they won’t try to leave on me, because those three are hanging longer on the foot end of the bed than the head end.

I might have to acquire some like. String lights or something. For in here. Just completely run with the hippie/little kid/magical decadence vibes.
