Heavily inspired by religion/beliefs I grew up with- but then again- what isn’t??

There’s a lot of thinking and designing that went into their clothing. The ones I’m showing are inspired by bishop and priest attire in Catholicism. It all has to do with the heirarchy of the church.

I picked bishop for the first one because it made sense role-wise. A bishop has more power over priests, alter servers, etc. BUT they still serve the pope (which they transition to after the final battle with TOWW).

I picked priest for the second one because crusading is a time when they are in a state of servitude; wether it’s gathering supplies for the cult, offerings for Narinder, etc. They are also spreading word of their faith onto those they save,, so ykkk

Also, their name is Mosaias. Because why not. I joke that they’re one of my happiest lambs, and thats because they’ve reached a point of no return,, and just- don’t care.

anyway, this is actually a fishing off of an old sketch - i had the lineart don ages ago, like, months, and i just never rendered it, so, with almost 4 hours of colouring, were there in time for a birthday drawing!

the concept of feeling bad not just for playing the weird route, but for "posessing" kris at all is so crazy, first because We Literally Did Not Choose That. like. it's kind of a whole thing in the very beginning of the game. that you say "this is the character i'm gonna be playing as 😊" and the Evil and Intimidating Voice says "idgaf 😡 you're kris now 😡". we didn't even know who kris was man what are you talking about. and then kris can take us out and put us back in but we can't do that. we literally can't leave them or choose to stay away from them. what are you talking about. if anything i'm the victim here. are you crazy.

but second because this idea is literally covered within the game. it's a whole thing in chapter 3. that kris/you go to play a game to have fun, and then you play it in the ONLY WAY the game can be played, and then an ugly annoying demon shames you for it and acts like it says anything about your character that you.... did what the game needed you to do to progress it?????? because the ethical choice would've been..... what, to stop playing it? but it's literally a game?? how can it be wrong to play it??? when it's made to be played??????? are you crazy????

"the forbidden path began with ice magic" man shut up wdym forbidden. you literally can't finish the sword route game without the ice magic part. there was no other path. and nobody hacked deltarune to do the weird route, it's PART OF THE GAME. it's not forbidden at all omggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg everybody touch grass and that eram whatever loser goes first for being ugly and talking crazy to kris
