found some mule deer bones while on a walk the other day and spent 3 hours cleaning ‘em~ this is the first time I’ve cleaned off any bones, so hopefully I gave ‘em a proper scrub!
I’m p excited to have found a pair of hips cus’ I always have trouble drawing hips on skeletals, and a p well-intact bottom half of the spine for the same reason (plus, it’s p neat to find all the vertebrae together rather than strewn about). the sacrum was the one part of the spine that completely fell off, so that’s why it’s tilted up, precariously balanced on the rest of the spine
I haven’t bleached them, cus’ I couldn’t find any bleach (and neither my friend or I felt like buying any)
