Weird formative moment from being really young: this bit from Bedknobs and Broomsticks (1971) from about 3:40 on.

Something about the chanting and the marching and the armor and the music and the day-for-night. Also especially that bit at the end where the army powers down. It's...archaic? Feels like what it would be like to die ten thousand years ago in a woolly mammoth hunt. Even though it's not really like that at all. Spooky.

Also Angela Lansbury is there, though I'd never heard of her before this film.
