Pages on the left side- penciled in May 2015. Pages on the right side- penciled in October 2013.
Back in 2013 I fell in love with a bizarre anonymous English ballad, “Tom o’Bedlam”, and decided to turn it into a comic during 24 Hour Comic Day. I managed to finish 24 pages of pencils but never got around to inking it. In the last few weeks I’ve been re-working my pencils so I can hopefully actually finish it this time. I’ve been having a lot of days lately of feeling like the slowest artist who ever lived, but putting these new pages next to the old ones and seeing the improvement is encouraging. I feel like I’ve gotten smarter about putting together a page, and that feels really good!
Casually blogging serial killer madder red work in progress costume
Gonna be hella reblogging Saga and possibly Bedlam for a little while.
Pretty sure the same will happen once I get into Fables and others.
Oh my god I want a Madder Red mask.
